Sarashy

Sarashy is one of villages in Barda district. It takes 30 minutes by car to drive there from Barda.The river Tulva flows through the village. The population is more than 1600 people.It is the native place of the hero of the Soviet Union Sharifzyan Kazanbaev.There is a museum in the school named after him.In the centre of Sarashy there is a monument to this hero and it is the place where the demonstrations take place every year on Victory Day. Sarashy is situated on the picturesque bank of the Tulva where industrious and hospitable people live and work.
